Wednesday: Warm-Up

In order to maintain our physical and spiritual energy level, we need to warm-up. When we think about warming-up, our physical bodies, we refer to aerobic/exercise warm-up.
Exercise Warm-Up
It is an important segment of each individual exercise session. This time period is used to gradually warm our muscle up in preparation for mores stimulating exercises. This period is 5-10 minutes of exercises and stretches.
Spiritual Warm-Up
This is a necessity. We need our spiritual warm-ups to help us to maintain our sanity. This time period can be incorporated in the morning, at noontime, and in the evening. The length of time will vary according to our schedules. The tools needed and used are; vocal chords for praying, Scripture reading for mind sanity, and praise and worship for warfare.
“Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace” (Ephesians 6: 13-15 NIV).
