U-turn

Along the free ways and country roads are places for you to make a u-turn when you notice that you are going in the wrong direction.

Throughout your daily activities and interaction with others, you noticed that your voice tone was harsh towards a loved one, you had a negative attitude towards a co-workers, or you angrily expressed your disappointment of not being promoted to your supervisor.

Just like the u-turn made on the freeway, you can turn from your present state of mind frame through repentance.

As a sincere believer of God’s word, you know that the Scripture tells you to acknowledge your wrong choices and for you to turn to God in genuine repentance, by confessing what you did and by deciding to learn from the situation. Also, if and when the opportunity arises, you should seek out the person you wronged and apologize to the person.

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord” (Acts 3:19 NIV).
Remember God loves you and His grace is sufficient for you at all times.
