The Red in Christmas

The bright rich color of red during the Christmas season represents the mankind deliverance from sin ( the fall of Adam). Also, it is the color of the Holly berries, which represents the blood of Jesus when he died on the cross.

The Messiah’s shared blood can be remembered as we taste the delicious candy canes, use red gift wrapping papers, and admire the beautiful red bulbs displayed through out the Christmas decorations.

” For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

Merry Christmas
