Stress Manager: Essential Oil

One’s stress levels can fluctuate, cause physical illnesses, and lead one down the road called depression. Let us offset the stress that rapidly attacks our lifestyles through the use of essential oils. Now before we implement the suggestive essential oils, let us check with our Spiritual Physician (SP) and our Medical Physician (MP). We can feel within our bodies, brains, and soul the dramatic effects of negative and positive stressors if we do not maintain a wholistic balance within our spirits, souls, and bodies. When we enter and stay within a stressful environment we get tired, become burden down, and lack self-control. Using essential oil allows unity between the mind-body-spirit. Throughout our day, let us take several for 1-2 minutes breaks and meditate and focus on our breathing. We can incorporate the essential oils (let us make sure that we know our allergies, and medical history before using the essential oils within our daily meditation breaks. Mental Alert (mind break) can incorporate the following synergizing blends (in diffuser) first choice is Juniper (4 drops); Lemon (two drops); Rosemary (two drops). The second choice is Eucalyptus (six drops); Peppermint (two drops); Basil (five drops). Next, to improve alertness and focus we can prayerfully use Basil, Clove, Lemon, or Rosemary. To maintain brain balance which stimulates our alertness, memory and increases beta waves in the brain we can use “Memorable Oils” which are Bergamot, Chamomile, Cedarwood, Lavender, or Sandalwood. Let us take the time to relax, nurture our brains and release stress through essential oils.
“olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense” (Exodus 25: 6).
