Self-Destructive Behavior Change

Change is never easy. As we face the challenge of changing unwanted behavior, we must first be patience with ourselves and remember our negative habits were not develop over not. We might overcome some instantly and others will take time.
A good way to keep track of our progress is through journaling. This way we can record our emotions, thoughts, and patterns of events. This is time to be truly honest with ourselves.
We need to modify our mentality, which means take ownership of our actions. Dealing with underline pain might me seeing where this behavior originated from which could go back into our childhood, youth years, career choices and past and present relationship status. This can be painful; therefore, we might want to seek professional assistants.
