O Holy Night

Thinking about all of the beautiful decoration during this Christmas time, can you see Christ the savior being born.  Let’s take the time to adore the birth of our Savior on such a Holy Night.

O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining, It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth.

The Scripture informs us that the Messiah’s birth was a night “In the same region there were some shepherd staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night” (Luke 2:8).

Long lay the world in sin and error pining.  Til He appeared and the soul felt its worth.

The Messiah’ birth delivered the world for us from our sinful state and from the sin’s of our forefather.  Then to Adam He said,”because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, you shall not eat from; cursed is the ground because of you” (Genesis 3:17).

Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices! O night divine, O night when Christ was born; O night divine, O night, O night divine!

“So that at the name of Jesus EVERY  KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father: (Philippians 2:10-11).

Give God the Glory due His Name.

Merry Christmas
