Nail Polish

The various nail polish shades can represent our mental health in relation to our emotional states. The days we are full of energy bubbling over from the sun radiance we can select to wear the following lavishing red nail polish shades: Lady-in-Red, Big Apple Red, Red Eye, and Red my Lips. Also, we find ourselves proclaiming “May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy” (Colossians 1:11). When we are stricken with the blues, sadness, and low spirit we can choose to apply the following blue shades of nail polish: Midnight Nod, In Full-Blue-m or Blue Lagoon. We can fight this low spirit by proclaiming “The blessing of the LORD, it makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22). When we feel or think that we our surrounded by darkness, feel isolated and hurt or tempted to enter the dark zone of depression we look to apply the following black shades of polish: Black Onyx, Black-in-Black or Black-to-Black. We can battle the dark spirits with the leadership of the Holy Spirit and by continuously proclaiming “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you” (Deuteronomy 31:8).
The nail polish shades do not determine our responses or reactions to our various expected and unexpected interactions. The polish can visually help us to maintain our beautiful image in Christ.
