Mental Health: Women

We wear so many hats: mother, wife, student, daughter, career, community. Instead of slowing down, chatting with God, saying no, we might slip into depression or have an anxiety attack.

Good mental health is important for a woman in order for her to maintain a healthy lifestyle: spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, vocational, financial, and psychological.

What are some good mental  health practices?

  • Healthy meals.
  • Aerobic/cardiovascular activities.
  • Strength training.
  • Yoga or Tai Chi.
  • Spa day.
  • Me-time.
  • Shopping (watch your budget).
  • Saying no.

Remember, God’s peace is within you, regardless of how many hats you are wearing tomorrow.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid (John 14:27 ESV).
