How can we detox our heart spiritually and physically?
“Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean; wash me and I shall be whiter than snow” (Psalms 51:7 ESV).
Physically, we can lower our risk of heart diseases by 29%, if we choose to consume the following foods at least four times a week: beans (chick peas, curry, spilt peas, and lentils) and almond butter. Make sure we are not allergic before adding them into our daily food intake.
Spiritually, we can lower our mood swings by:
Spending time in God’s word.
Confessing God’s word over our lifestyles.
Choosing to deal with life challenges (reality) versus ignoring them.
Keeping our faith, hope, and trust in God versus in self, others, or circumstances.
