Health Through Physical Activity

When we need to get someone, we can move swiftly and not operate within a complaining mode. Whether we realize it or not, physical activity is a vital part of our “moving lifestyles”. We are grateful to be able to commute from place to place; however, are we conscious of the health benefits we receive through physical movements?
Through physical movements we can avoid becoming a member of the chronic disease population while we control our weight. Exercising helps us to manage blood sugar and insulin levels within our bodies. If one wants to quit smoking, he or she can keep on exercising. It improves our mental health and mood. It enhances our thoughts and learning abilities while we avoid becoming judgmental. Staying physical active strengthen our bones and muscles while enhancing our social lifestyles.
Let us engage in family activities this week end remembering that we are blessed to be able to move and engage in family fun through physical activities.
“But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified” (1 Corinthians 9:27).
