Fingers

We all make physical connection with others through our fingers.
We greet others by waving of our hands.
We serve others through our hands.
We serve ourselves with our hands.
Hopefully, we do not wait until we are not able to use a finger, to be grateful for use of all ten fingers.
Question to ask ourselves is
What are our spiritual fingers connecting, releasing, and holding onto?
When reference spiritual fingers, we are relating to the following:
• Judgmental-“ Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye” (Matthew 7:1-5 ESV).
• Unforgiveness- “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you” (Ephesian 4:32 ESV).
• Unloving-“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things” (1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 ESV).
I hope we are walking judgement free, full of forgiveness and love.
