What are the requirements for us to eat like champions?
In order to set at a table and eat a fest fit for a king, queen, prince, or princess we need to know our identities. If our self-images reflect insecurity, low self-esteem, or victim mentality then our families’ champion meals will include:
Physical-comfort foods, pasties, alcohol, potato chips, soda, and fried foods.
Spiritual-mood swings, defeating thoughts, and acceptance to follow others’ negative opinions and advices.
If our self-images are based on and in our Christian-identities, then our families’ champion meal then our physical and spiritual food intake proclaims “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13 ESV). We can enjoy our family meal and time in confidence, contentment, and peace.
