Defense: Liver Disease Part 2

We can maintain healthy liver function when we choose to invest in good liver healthcare habits. Before we journey on a wellbeing program that enhances our liver care, we must seek our Spiritual Physician (SP), which will be rooted upon biblical doctrine. This is done through prayer, meditation on God’s word, and seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Now, we are ready to seek out ways to develop and maintain a healthy liver. Here are a list of suggestions:
Maintain a healthy weight in relations to one’s body composition.

Eat a balance diet. Try to avoid saturated fat, refined carbohydrates (white flour and white sugar), high calorie-meals. Get one’s fiber form fresh fruits, whole-grain breads, brown rice, and vegetables. Please try to limit amount of red meat. Eat dairy products with low-fat milk and small amounts of cheese. Finally, eat the good fats that are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated (nuts, seeds, and fish).
Maintain a fitness ritual. When one engage in an ongoing exercise routine, it helps one to burn triglycerides for fuel, which may reduce liver fat.
Avoid toxin, use alcohol in moderation and avoid the use of illicit drugs.
“Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ and make them the members of a harlot? God forbid” (1 Corinthians 6:15).
