Today is Monday. Whether you are starting your career week, going to school, planning your daily activities, ministering to others, or taking some me-time, check your attitude thermostat.
We are aware that the thermostat is the component of which senses the temperature system within our household, place of employment and school system.
Since our attitude expresses or favor or disfavor towards person, place or thing, what is your attitude temperature?
1. Is the temperature based on your last week’s life disappointments: unmeet finances, bad grades, shocking health reports, conflict with supervisors? Remember Hebrews 13:5, “Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, I will never desert you nor will I ever forsake you.”
2. Is the temperature based on the fear of unknown or lack discipline? Rembert 2Timothy 1:7, “For the Spirit of God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power. Love and self-discipline.”
3. Is the temperature set on no peace or inner calmness? Remember Isaiah 26:3, “ You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
No matter where your attitude temperature started from you can always do an attitude adjustment throughout your day as you check in with the Creator of the thermostat.
Have a blessed day.
